Many clients return for touch-ups every 8-10 months to maintain their results. The lips are a high-movement area, which can cause filler to break down slightly faster than other areas.

Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure with minimal discomfort. We apply a topical numbing cream before treatment, and Juvederm contains lidocaine (a local anesthetic) for additional comfort. The entire procedure takes only 15-30 minutes, and any discomfort is brief.

Yes! This is one of the key benefits of hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvederm. If you're unhappy with your results or experience any complications, the filler can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This gives you peace of mind knowing the results are not permanent.

You can return to normal activities immediately after treatment. However, expect some swelling for 2-3 days (this is normal and temporary). Bruising is possible but can be minimized by avoiding blood thinners, alcohol, and certain supplements for a week before treatment. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours.

For subtle enhancement or if you're new to fillers, a half syringe ($425) is often sufficient. For more noticeable volume, lip asymmetry correction, or if you have naturally thinner lips, a full syringe ($750) is recommended. During your consultation, we'll discuss your goals and recommend the right amount for your desired outcome.

To minimize bruising, avoid blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E) for one week before treatment. Avoid alcohol for 24-48 hours before your appointment. Come with clean skin, no lip products. If you have a history of cold sores, let us know—we may recommend a preventive antiviral medication.
